Quality program for local Restaurants
One of the tasks of Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) is to assure the quality of products and services provided by our tourism industry. CTB strives to achieve this target among others by stimulating industry stakeholders to meet quality standards. In this context CTB has approached ICC, to together develop a quality program for restaurants.
The quality program developed is designed, based on what customers (and in particular tourists) generally find important. The aim of the program is to better satisfy customers’ needs and to offer them better customer experiences. In this program the focus is on hygiene and quality services, qualities that are objectively measurable and important to all customers.
The program also addresses two other qualities: social corporate responsibility, and employee and customer safety. These qualities show whether a company cares about and invests in the safety and wellbeing of its customers, staff and environment.
